Situated 7,816 Meters from Uttarakhand, is also termed to be “God’s Homeland”, also known as “Devbhoomi”. Not to forget Uttrakhand is home to many recognized temples and is always covered with the colors of devotion from the devotees throughout the. Though this heavenly land holds countless religious sites and circuits that devotees bow down to, the most eminent and soul-purifying track is the Char Dham Yatra. This Yatra or pilgrimage comprises the tour of the four most holy & magical sites – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and  – with the Himalayas being the custodian of these. In the Language of Hindi, ‘char’ means four, and ‘Dham’ stands for religious destinations.

Being in the lap of the Himalayas these high-altitude shrines remain enveloped by heavy snow for six months making them closed and inaccessible for around six months and the process follows every year, The Doors or “Dwars” are opened for “Darshan” in summer (April or May) and remain opened till the onset of winter (October or November). For Chardham Yatra, mythology says “to reap the optimum heavenly blessings one should complete the trip in clockwise direction” with starting Shrine being of Yamunotri, moving forward towards Gangotri, onto shrine Devoted to Lord Shiva (Kedarnath), and the final Shrine is of Lord Badrinath. Most of the devotees cover this Devotional Journey by Road, but now you can take Char Dham Yatra by Helicopter, we at Parth Trip also provide premium services by Helicopter as well. In Char Dham Yatra there are two holiest shrines namely Kedarnath(devoted to Lord Shiva) and Badrinath(devoted to Lord Narayana), a small pilgrimage journey is routinely followed by thousands of devotees and this Yatra is named “Do Dham Yatra”, we also provide special Do Dham Yatra Packages for Groups & Families.

Speaking about the Two Other dhams in Char Dham Yatra, located in a narrow gorge & very near to the source of ages old river ‘The Yamuna’ is the Temple of Yamunotri, River Yamuna is considered to be the second most sacred river after River Ganga, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and lies in the district of Uttarkashi. The Uttarkashi district is home to other heavenly rivers and the one that is considered most sacred, River Ganga, and hence Gangotri Temple is also situated here. Located in the district of Rudraprayag, lies Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Badrinath, home to the sacred Badrinarayan Temple, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The Char Dham Yatra is the holiest & divine as it is arduous but fulfills the soul!
